Join the Tempe History Museum for a heartfelt and interactive workshop that celebrates the power of storytelling through family photos, memories, and cultural traditions.
Rooted in the spirit of Día de los Muertos, this program invites participants to explore the ways we honor our ancestors and preserve our heritage through personal narratives. In this workshop, participants will discover storytelling techniques to bring family histories to life, reflect on the cultural significance of Día de los Muertos and view the displayed alter, and engage with historical family albums from the museum’s collection. Whether you're preserving cherished memories or exploring your roots, this workshop offers a meaningful space to connect, create, and celebrate the stories that shape us.
This program will take place at the Tempe History Museum in the Community Room.
This is a One Tempe One Book program.
