Teen CenterGet hooked on crochet as you learn new skills and projects to express your creativity with every stitch. Earn community service hours by using your talents to give back to the community!
Join us in this hands-on teen crochet club, perfect for beginners and experienced fiber artists looking to connect with other yarn enthusiasts! Each month will highlight a new stitch and pattern to explore. An instructor will be present to teach crochet basics and more advanced techniques and projects like granny squares, wearables, and amigurumi.
For teens interested in community service hours, you can use your talents to help make blanket panels and wearables to be donated to Warm Up America and local partners. Community service hours are NOT required to participate in Crochet Corner.
Crochet Corner meets bimonthly on the second Friday from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and the last Monday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. This program is for ages 12 – 18 only.
All supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring any ongoing projects you would like to work on.
