Want to learn how to play Pokemon the Trading Card Game? Join us for an intense two hours of learning and playing! The Library has card decks for use during this program.
Pokemon Training Academy is a 2 hour program. The first hour is used to explain the cards and rules of the game, then we will play for the second hour!
Pokemon the Trading Card Game (Pokemon TCG) requires basic Math, Reading, and Turn-Taking skills to enjoy.
The Library will supply the decks for use while we learn to play. We do not allow Trading of Cards during this program, so please do not bring your own cards.
This program is recommended for Kids, ages 6- 16.
Registration is required for this program.
* Kids who attend at least 5 of our Pokemon events will earn a Tempe Public Library Pokemon Gym Canvas Bag. These bags are great for showing off any Tempe Public Library Pokemon Gym Badges you might earn by defeating one of our Pokemon Gym Leaders.
