What is birth tissue donation?
Following the miracle of life, birth tissue (placenta and umbilical cord) can become a priceless gift with the potential to aid in the healing of multiple or various types of surgical procedures. In addition to cherishing the miracle of a new baby, these generous parents are able to help others through the donation of birth tissue.
Donor Network of Arizona facilitates birth tissue donation, along with the lifesaving gifts of organ and tissue donation across the state. Learn more and register as an organ and tissue donor at dnaz.org!
