Uke Therapy is a relaxed, beginner-friendly wellness program that combines simple ukulele playing with mindfulness and stress-relief techniques. Participants explore easy chords and strumming patterns while using music as a tool for emotional regulation, connection, and mental well-being. This program is designed as a therapeutic music experience rather than a traditional ukulele lesson; participants should be comfortable holding and gently playing a ukulele. All levels of players are welcome to come, advised those joining can provide their own ukulele and know C, F, and G.
Nancy Cowan is a nurse who created Uke Therapy to make mental health support more accessible, creative, and engaging by blending music, mindfulness, and evidence-informed practices. Learn more at nancycowanmusic.com.
