4th in a 4 part writing series.
Inspired by Emily Stoddard’s workshop “More Than Vibes,” this course offers approaches to revising an in-progress work as a generous exercise, rather than one of cuts and edits. According to Stoddard, “Mood and meaning live in language, sound, and rhythm just as much as they live in information, memory, scenes, and context.” In this workshop, we will explore several approaches to revision practicing on a work you already have in progress. This workshop is designed with fiction in mind, but nonfiction writers and poets are welcome at any level.
