Revisionary Arts and Little Somethings Press will host a series of three free creative, reflective, community-building workshops for mothers.
The writing workshop will be hosted by Revisionary Arts and tailored specifically for mothers to read, reflect on, and discuss selected readings that pertain to the full spectrum of motherhood, from pain and trauma to joy.
Participants will also be given a writing prompt and the tools to begin working on a new piece of writing. Participants will also be invited to submit their work for publication in a printed collection of short writings and visual artworks, which will be launched at an open-to-the-community event at the Tempe History Museum.
Tempe Public Library provides the community free access to and assistance with information, resources, spaces, and opportunities.
