Four Cities. Four Library Systems. One Champion!
TEMPE REGISTRATION WILL OPEN DECEMBER 15. To register your team of two, please email tplprograms@tempe.gov
Come join the second annual Inter-City Puzzle Tournament! Chandler Public Library, Mesa Public Library, Tempe Public Library, and now Scottsdale Public Library (Main Branch) will compete to see what city has the fastest puzzlers! You'll have a set time to complete the same 550-piece puzzle, and the top team from each branch will move on to the final round at the Mesa Main Library (64 E. 1st St, Mesa AZ, 85201) on Saturday, February 7th from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Tournament Rules: Form a team of two and register your team captain online at your preferred branch. There are limited slots, so only register one name per team. Your captain will be the main contact for the event. You can only register for one spot at any branch. You can only register at one library system. All teams will be given the same 550-piece puzzle and have 90 minutes to complete it. The team that finishes first wins. If no team finishes, the winner will be the one with the fewest pieces left. In case of a tie, teams will get an extra five minutes to continue. The top team from each branch advance to the final round at Mesa Main Library. No sorting tools outside of the puzzle box you will be given will be allowed. Participants must be 12 years or older. There must be one adult on the team.
