Storytime & Activity
Join us for an engaging storytime with Whitney Lowrey, author of Everyone Learns Differently, a book that celebrates the unique ways we learn. This storytime will be followed by an interactive activity where kids can explore their own learning style and collaborate on ways to support each other's learning style.
About the author:
Whitney Lowrey is an elementary special education teacher with over 10 years of experience. Originally from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, she now lives in Arizona with her husband, Scott, and their two baseball-loving sons, Blake and Brixen. Whitney is also a professor at Arizona State University, where she trains future educators. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, and spending time with her playful Goldendoodle, Dodger. Everyone Learns Differently is Whitney’s debut children's book in a series, and she hopes it will help children understand and appreciate how we are all unique.
