Tempe Public Library
Desert Willow Program RoomJoin the Tempe Public Library and the Arizona Historical Society in creating a time capsule and learning what makes them significant markers of our history.
Create a personal time capsule while exploring Arizona’s hidden history! In partnership with the Arizona Historical Society, learn why people create time capsules, discover fascinating examples from Arizona’s past, and decide what objects, memories, and messages are most essential to preserve for the future. Participants will leave with their own time capsule and a new appreciation for how everyday items help tell the story of our lives and communities.
